I love listening to you guys, but you’ve got to cut it down! The show went from 25 minutes to 1 hour and 25 minutes (increasing over 200%) since you first posted. I’ve got a job and family… who’s got that kind of time to invest? I really hope attention is paid to the length of future shows because I would love to keep listening. Thanks for hearing me out.

Tom,
Thanks for the listening and the good feedback! I must agree, I wanted the show to be an energetic 7 minutes long (not a second more), but TODD keeps lobbying for “more length, less quality.” Russ, on the other hand wants to pare it down to zero minutes. Yes, we have been a bunch of chatty cathies (I’m am recovering from a bad case of oral diarrhea), we’ll cut it down. How does 45 minutes of rock-solid, podtastic entertainment sound?
peace, Jeff

Oddly enough, some people have given us feedback asking for MORE. Masochists. If you’re downloading to a portable player you could always listen in spurts…but yeah, if you’re listening via Odeo or something, that might require more of an investment. Plus, it is true that our ‘casts are like a great movie…you get sucked in and just HAVE to listen to the whole thing in one sitting. I think making 1 hour the max is a good compromise. Especially if that 1 hour expires with a hard stop in the middle of Jeff speaking or Todd saying “Do you know who else used to prefer wearing silk briefs? Johnathan Winston Lenn…”.
Thanks for listening, Tom!

Upon giving that 2 more minutes of reflection, shooting for 45 minutes of rock-solid podtastic entertainment sounds like a good benchmark.
